This is the first book in German on Ghee, now in revised and enlarged edition, the new addition being a chapter on veterinary medicine. In many parts of Asia Ghee is considered to be the most effective remedy for many a malady and is regularly taken by millions. Even in Europe this fatty, oily substance is getting more enthusiasts who treat cough, fever, wounds etc. with it. The book introduces the readers into scientifically secured methods of treatment and shows how Ghee can be made even in private homes.
About the authors
Dr. med. Sebastian Mathew is surgeon and Ayurveda doctor in Klagenfurt. He was the director of the medical seminars in the renowned Academy for Holistic Medicine in Vienna and was a member of the advisory board for scientific matters of the European academy for Ayurveda in Germany. At present he is running an Ayurveda and Vein clinic in Klagenfurt.
Dr. med. Eva Kettler-Schmut works mainly on internal medicine and diabetes mellitus. She is also engaged in studies on methods of treatment by applying complementary medical practices, especially Acupuncture and Ayurveda.
Univ.-Prof. Mag. Phil. Otto Schmut is biochemist and engaged in research at the ophthalmic clinic of the University of Graz. He was recently awarded with the Sicca-Prize for research by the Union of German Ophthalmologists.
